Western Regional Feminist Campus Leadership Conference is a Success!

The Western Regional Feminist Campus Leadership Conference was held at Santa Monica College in Los Angeles, CA on November 6 & 7th. Over 176 people from the Western States from 35 campuses were in attendance.

Speakers included Dolores Huerta, Councilwoman Jan Perry, Feminist Majority Foundation’s Kathy Spillar, and numerous student leaders. Many came to our SpeakOUT rally to share their thoughts on feminist issues. We had 8 workshops that focused on violence against women, fake clinics, global women’s rights, LGBTQ rights, women of color, anti-abortion extremism, trafficking, family planning, sustainable development, and femicide. It was a great success! Thank you for all who came and participated in the conference!

LA Office Seeks Fall Interns!

Are you an outgoing, hardworking feminist looking to sharpen your organizing, outreach and research skills this fall? If so, consider applying for the FMF's Fall Internship in the Los Angeles office!

Fall interns will work to organize feminist student groups across the Western U.S., expose fake clinics, fight for global women's health and rights, and help us plan for the Fall Western Regional Young Women's Leadership Conference.
