ACTION ALERT: Speak out for Abortion Rights & Clinics!

Action Alert from the Feminist Majority Foundation!

Since the news of Dr. George Tiller's assassination, we've been working around the clock with law enforcement, assessing the security needs of targeted abortion clinics and healthcare workers nationwide. We need your help! Together, we must speak out for abortion rights and stand up for besieged clinics and doctors.

Our National Clinic Access Project, the largest and oldest of its kind, is working overtime to provide aid to targeted clinics in this time of need. We've successfully requested and received federal protection for some severely targeted providers.

We must remember that the countless threats, legal challenges, bombings and assaults experienced by Dr. Tiller, his dedicated staff, and his clinic prior to his murder, were not isolated incidents.

We noticed and reported an escalation in extremist activity against abortion clinics to federal authorities before Dr. Tiller's murder. Now, we're seeing an even greater increase in anti-abortion extremist activity. In this emergency situation, we need your help to extend more emergency resources at this perilous time.

Anti-abortion extremists are ramping up their efforts to deny women access. Our National Clinic Access Project has been working for decades to do all we can to keep clinics open, accessible, and doctors and women's healthcare workers safe. Now is the time to speak out - together we must stop the terror!

In Dr. Tiller's memory, we are determined to honor his life and work by fighting to keep clinics safe and open, and to speak the truth about abortion-it saves women's lives!

Without clinics there is no choice - we need your help to keep clinics open, accessible, and safe!

For Women's Lives,

Eleanor Smeal
President

P.S. Tell President Obama your story. Speak out for abortion rights on behalf of the courageous healthcare workers on the frontlines of the struggle for women's rights and lives. With his help and yours, we can stop this domestic terrorism.
