October is National Domestic Violence Awareness month, and next week, (October 18-24) the YWCA is hosting a nationwide Week Without Violence campaign. The purpose is to teach people the facts about domestic violence, and to empower women to stand up against it. All around the country, YWCAs will be hosting events.
