Calling all Southern feminists!

Happy Wednesday, Feminist Blogosphere Friends!

Just wanted to drop a quick note to let you all know that in conjunction with planning our upcoming Women of Color Conference this October, a few of us campus organizers are also hitting the road!

Tania and I are going to be headed down south - we're leaving DC this weekend and will be sweeping through South Carolina and North Carolina next week, and then spending the following week in Georgia. We're going to be traveling around to area schools to do outreach for the conference and meet with some of our super feminist friends on campuses, like the Women's Studies Student Organization at the University of Georgia and our conference co-hosts, Spelman College's Women's Research and Resource Center and FMLA!

We are super excited to be headed that way, but we know that there could be some great feminists in those parts that have somehow eluded our grasp! Do you go to school in GA, SC, or NC? Or do you know someone who does? Let us know! We'd love to get in touch and arrange to meet up! Drop us a line at campusteam@feminist.org, and we'll be in touch!
