Feminist-y News

For today, I thought I'd just upload some links to stories that were interesting.

In what seems to be an inhumane act, Utah executed a murderer by firing squad early this morning.

Excellent news for women's reproductive health: A federal advisory panel voted Thursday that federal drug regulators should approve Ella, a morning-after pill that works up to five days after intercourse by blocking the effects of progesterone, a female hormone that incites ovulation.

Louisiana passes Pre-Abortion Ultrasound requirement which requires women seeking abortions to get ultrasounds, even in cases of rape or incest. This definitely seems like a ploy to attempt to guilt women out getting abortions. (Via Jezebel)

Anddd, something to brighten up your Friday (TGIF!): The cutest little Brazilian baby boy dancing to Samba. Cutest. Thing. Ever.
