Women today are often fearful of being called a feminist, for fear of what the name connotes. Hairy, man-hating, unhygienic, we have heard it all. Campus Progress has written a very relevant article called "I'm Not a Feminist, but..." which perfectly encompasses a lot of issues that feminists today face. It's a pretty quick read, and I would definitely recommend reading it. You might even find yourself proud to call yourself a feminist after reading it!
